Beautiful restaurant in midtown Atlanta. Tremendous appetizers. We have the calamari, shrimp and grits and the seafood platter/tower. All were outstanding. Especially the lump crab. A+!! Since the fish of the day was salmon, I opted for the filet. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. The deserts were incredible. The caramel cheesecake was definitely the best. Would recommend if in midtown and looking for an upscale dining experience with seafood.

Service is exact on point! Excellent! The food is fantastic! The best that I've had. Shrimp was so fresh and delicious. Lobster cooked perfectly. The filet is outstanding. The cheesecake with chocolate and nuts was the perfect ending. A great experience all around! A small tiff at the end. But not enough to ruin a fantastic Thanksgiving!

The wait staff was so attentive and lovely that it made our lunch that much more enjoyable! I got the shrimp and seafood chopped salad and it was lovely! They did not skimp at all on the seafood and it tasted so incredibly fresh! I ate the entire thing and it was a very big salad! My only complaint about this place was it was an absolute ice box inside. I was in a suit for a business meeting and I was freezing to the point of having shivers! Bring extra layers if you're going here to stay warm!

I had the pleasure of dining at Oceanaire Seafood [again this past weekend], and it was a delightful experience that transported me straight to the seaside, despite being nestled in the heart of Georgia. As someone who appreciates good seafood, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of their offerings. The service at Oceanaire is top-notch. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring my dining experience was smooth from start to finish. It's always a great sign when the service can match the quality of the food! The menu, although not vast, features a variety of seafood delights that seem to be carefully selected to cater to different palates. From the freshly shucked oysters to the grilled salmon, every dish I tried was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The seasoning was spot on, enhancing the seafood without overpowering its natural taste. Oceanaire manages to find a balance between affordability and a feeling of indulgence. While it's not the cheapest place around, the prices are justified by the quality of food and the overall dining experience. It's a good spot for those occasions when you want to treat yourself without breaking the bank. The portion sizes are the only aspect where Oceanaire might not meet everyone's expectations. While the dishes are exquisitely prepared, they are not overly generous, and one shouldn't expect to leave feeling stuffed. However, the quality of the ingredients and the presentation can make up for the size, especially if you're focusing on enjoying a lighter, finer meal. Overall, Oceanaire is a gem for seafood lovers in Georgia. With its excellent service, high-quality fare, and a cozy yet elegant ambiance, it's definitely worth a visit. Whether you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or just in the mood for some good seafood, Oceanaire won't disappoint.

I had a phenomenal experience at The Oceanaire! I was pleasantly surprised by the service, food, and ambiance. I checked the Yelp reviews prior to my visit and I...let's say...went into this experience with low expectations. Looking back, it's unfortunate that others didn't get the same positive experience as I did. I loved it. We went for my friend's birthday celebration on a Wednesday evening and it was populated, but not super packed. We had a corner table of 4 and the best waiter. I wish I remembered his name because he definitely deserves an appreciation post. He was attentive, friendly, and recommended delicious options. He ensured we enjoyed our evening. I ordered: A mocktail -- the bartender took a stab at something special Scottish salmon -- blackened Sautéed green beans Garlic mash I have zero complaints. The food was delicious. Nothing lacked flavor. Again, I was pleasantly surprised at my overall experience--the food was phenomenal. I'm not a huge seafood eater, but I'd try this spot again. It was a relaxing and fun birthday celebration and everyone left happy.

The food is excellent. This is your typical upscale restaurant with overpriced entrees. We went on a Thursday and it was empty. Our server Hailey was awesome. I booked my reservation on open table and noted that I was celebrating a birthday, and they brought out a surprise birthday dessert that they charged us for. I don't think you should charge customers for a dessert they didn't select or wish to receive, but the gesture was nice. The martinis were small and not filled to the rim.

Beautiful restaurant! I was able to treat my father to an early Father's Day celebration. We were able to seat immediately upon arrival. We made a reservation but from the looks of it, a reservation was not needed for the time/day we decided to go. From arrival to departure the service was great! Our server took plenty of time describing and recommending options. There were many items we never tried before and this special occasion was a good opportunity we took advantage of to try something new. The options were unique with the exception of a Basic fried shrimp dish - it was underwhelming. The menu is very pricey! Be ready to pay a substantial amount for delicious food, great service and beautiful ambiance.

We came in Thursday night about 30-60 minutes before closing and sat at the bar. It was quiet and maybe 1 other person when we arrived; a cpl people and 2 couples came and it was a little livelier for a while. Initially the bartender was not attentive, but then seemed to adjust to the fact people were at the. At that close to closing. He warmed up in other words. He provided good service & made some recommendations. My husband ordered some raw oysters, my son ordered a cup of clam chowder, & I ordered calamari for us to start. They liked what they ordered & the calamari was cooked perfectly. It wasn't chewy or rubbery at all. And it was well-seasoned. I could do w/o the jalapeños in the tartar sauce, but it's easy enough to eat around them for the most part. I wasn't as hungry and ordered the seafood chopped salad, which is very good & full of fresh shrimp & crab meat. I took 2/3 of it home. The bartender informed me it's a pretty big salad & he didn't misrepresent it. I enjoyed it for lunch the next day & it was still good. My son ordered the swordfish with the blue cheese & liked it. My husband ordered the scallops. It's amazing how high food costs are in the U.S.! We were in Italy for a week & ate the freshest seafood for much less. 6 -8 scallops for $60 w/o sides is a bit much. They shared the green beans & liked them. We like coming to Oceanaire as the ambience is nice & relaxed & the food are service are usually good. The restaurant & restrooms were clean.
